Growing up, Amy’s mom baked for family and friends and still does to this day! When she made a meal or dessert that was really tasty, she would say “it’s D’lish”. And since Amy’s goal is to make tasty treats reminiscent of her childhood in her dessert shop, it seems appropriate that this quaint word be the inspiration.

She spent so much time baking with her son, that during one trip home from college, he talked her into them both getting a tattoo of the bowl to represent that bond. While she was hesitant, she found it impossible to tell him no. And while she’ll never get another tattoo (this story tends to be embellished every time it gets told), she wouldn’t trade it for anything. A bowl that started with her grandmother that will live on through Amy and her son is really worthy of sharing with others. The perfect inspiration for this bakery and dessert shop!
